Wyaralong Dam
Goodwin Midson & Partners have been recently commissioned by Queensland Water Infrastructure Pty Ltd, on behalf of the state Government, to undertake cadastral surveying services for the proposed Wyaralong Dam project, including downstream, the Cedar Grove Weir and Bromelton Offstream Storage Facility.
Wyaralong Dam is located in the Logan River catchment on Teviot Brook in the Boonah Shire, between Boonah and Beaudesert and will cover approximately 1230 hectares. It will operate in conjunction with Cedar Grove Weir and will have a capacity of 103,000 megalitres contributing 21,000 ML/a to the watergrid. An additional 5000 ML/a will be provided from the Bromelton Offsream Storage Facility.
Completion is due by December 2011.
